Sex on the Sahara: Balmain Spring/Summer 2016



What: Balmain by Olivier Rousteing Spring/Summer 2016. Saharienne Tribal-Meets-Kim Karadashian-West. Rousteing continues his homage to la Kim K with an entire collection that screams her name and body type. Sex Sells and no one knows this better than the 29-year-old designer. Fabulous Michael Jackson soundtrack. Return of Brazilian early 2000's supermodel Caroline Ribeiro who opened and ended the show.



Trends:The "Kim Kardashian-West Look". Retro-Sexy; tight and tighter; peek-a-boo cut outs; cross-body tops; macrame; Fearless Glamazon; late 1980's/early 1990's shapes, silhouettes; Big Leg-o-Mutton-type sleeves; volants/ruffles; cropped bomber jackets; Moto jackets; leather; suede; shoulder pads; Azzedine Alaia with a dash of Herve Leger.
